Elegant Chapel Wedding at Anthony Chapel in Hot Springs, Arkansas

Taylor and Garrett’s elegant chapel wedding at Anthony Chapel in Hot Springs was one of my absolute favorite events of 2024. Right off the bat, I knew that Taylor and I were going to get along, especially when she described her day as intimate, fun, and laid back. Taylor and Garrett opted for a low-key wedding that did not include a wedding party, a trend that I’ve been noticing more and more recently.

We started the day at the couple’s super cool Airbnb for getting ready photos. From their, I orchestrated a first look at Anthony Chapel, a location that Taylor specifically asked to spend the bulk of our time together, citing the way she loves the incredible architecture of the venue.

One of the coolest things about Taylor and Garrett’s elegant chic day is the fact that they knew their vibe was heavy on the darker tones, so they asked their guests to wear dark colors to fit their aesthetic. Taylor also had her mother walk her down the aisle, which was such a beautiful moment!

Lastly, Taylor and Garrett rented out the top floor of The Vault restaurant for a private dinner. The dinner was amazing, and the couple made sure to include some dancing and a small cake cutting. Taylor even had a surprise dress change!

Taylor and Garrett also gave me full creative freedom, which is not something that I take for granted! Even though I’ve worked at Anthony Chapel numerous times, being able to have full creative reign is such a game changer in how the day transpires. Not only did we take time for portraits both inside and outside of the chapel, but we also explored other areas within Garvan Gardens.

One of my biggest tips for getting married at Anthony Chapel is to invest in a golf cart rental so that we can travel to multiple locations within the Gardens with ease!

As you can see, Taylor and Garrett had the most amazing micro-wedding. Their time spent at Anthony Chapel was nothing short of elegant, with the most fun reception in downtown Hot Springs. I am constantly amazed at the way my couples trust me to create art that they’re excited about. It makes my photographer heart happy to work with such incredible couples!
