A Beautiful Fall Elopement at Petit Jean State Park | Jen and Levi
Petit Jean State Park, located near Morrilton, Arkansas, is the perfect location for any intimate wedding or elopement. Surrounded by trees and the vast landscape of the valley and river, it’s easy to see why so many couples choose Petit Jean to tie the knot. For Jen and Levi, Petit Jean State Park provided the perfect amount of fall foliage and stunning scenery for their elopement.
When Jen and I first connected, I was super drawn to her and Levi’s adventurous personalities and the way she described their love. When asked how they met, Jen said that Levi had commented on one of her images asking if the photo was taken at the Humble Crumb, to which she replied, “close, New Orleans.” Jen said from that moment on, the rest was history.
The couple had their first date on Levi’s birthday (unbeknownst to Jen), and ended up having the best time. When Levi proposed to Jen, he had planned a day to go hiking, swimming, and waterfall chasing with the kids. Levi proposed in front of the waterfall at Blanchard Springs in Mountain View, Arkansas. Jen recalls being super surprised at the proposal and having the best time afterward as they all went to PJ’s Rainbow Cafe for dessert. They ended the night together at the square listening to music and dancing.
The fact that Levi proposed in nature is another reason why these two gravitated toward the idea of having their elopement surrounded by the natural beauty of Arkansas. Petit Jean was exactly what they wanted.

As you can see, Jen and Levi had the most beautiful day! The fall foliage was giving that day, and the sunset was absolutely incredible to witness. We had so much fun exploring Petit Jean and all it had to offer! From the iconic views at Stout’s Point to the vast dips of the mountains near Mather’s Lodge, Petit Jean State Park has lots to offer!
