Fall Wedding in Arkansas at The Venue at Oakdale | Constance and Hudson

Constance and Hudson had the most amazing wedding day celebration at The Venue at Oakdale in Central Arkansas. From start to finish, the day was incredible and the details were so intentional and thought out. I was thrilled when I got to the venue and saw all the attention they had paid to the details of the day. For instance, Hudson’s favorite cereal is fruity pebbles, so they opted for fruity pebbles on their Bundt cake. Another thoughtful detail was how Constance’s mom had sewn Constance’s dad’s initials onto her dress as a way to honor his memory on the wedding day. The initial also served as Constance’s something blue.

One of my favorite things about this day was how these two opted for a classic color palette with the men in all black suits and the woman in champagne colored dresses. The colors fit beautifully with the fall setting! Constance rocked a strapless dress with a high slit while Hudson donned an all black suit with a pop of color on his boutonnière.

Shooting at The Venue at Oakdale is always so dreamy! This venue offers a stunning reception space with an upstairs that can accommodate even more seating, and a chapel space that’s completely separate from the reception room. I love how shooting here offers a wide variety of background scenery! There is a stunning outdoor space that has an awning, as well as a beautiful tree line nestled behind the venue that shows off all of the fall foliage. With Constance and Hudson, we had time to take photos in all of the key spots on the property and then some!

As we prepared for their engagement session earlier this year, Constance and I talked about how important it was to her that their images were a reflection of their love. She really wanted images that showed how intimate the intimacy of their relationship. I knew that she wanted this same sort of intensity for her wedding images.

Their big finale at the end of their wedding day was one of the most epic moments I’ve ever captured! Constance and Hudson had a helicopter exit! It was so amazing and fit their love, wild and free, perfectly!

By the end of the evening, everyone was full of joy for the happy couple and had the most amazing time celebrating them.

As you can see, Constance and Hudson had one heck of a celebration! From their custom neon sign to the most epic helicopter sendoff, these two truly knew how to throw a party! Their day was absolutely perfect and so very unique to them. After it’s all said, and the wedding cake is all gone, the memories that you made will live on forever!
